I have been a Jazz Enthusiast since 1969...I was and still am an avid collector of jazz music.... Smooth Jazz, or C-Jazz (Contemporary) is my genre.   Growing up in D.C., I was fortunate to attend Howard University at the beginning of WHUR (Howard University Radio). This is where I learned music structure, and programming. Imagine...being there for the launch of the "Quiet Storm", a late-night music programming format with it's originator Melvin Lindsey RIP (92).

Smooth Groove Radio "The Vibe" is a lifelong dream of mine...to be on the radio!!  I knew that there was something missing from my local terrestrial radio station .
